Sprinkle the nuts on the salads and have the delicious salads. For better tasting salads, roast the nuts and then add them to salads. Stop using croutons. The best part of eating nuts is, they can be eaten raw as well.
3. Add Vegetables:
While you have a Chinese or another takeout, add a steamed set of vegetables to your junk food to make it a healthier version of it. You can also mix a bag of salad with undressed lettuce. Add baby spinach or kale to frozen meals. This way you will end up eating healthier stuff and would be able to avoid salty food that ends up being junk in your body.
4. Cut down on Sugar in your Yoghurt:
With plain yoghurt that consists of some fresh fruits, you can always go right. Plain yoghurt is not favoured by everyone. And, most light sugar yoghurts add a low-calorie sweetener which should be avoided at all possible costs. Hence, instead of collecting yoghurts from the market, one should prepare their healthy yoghurts at home with an assortment of fruits and even nuts. This would increase the taste and health quotient in many ways. The best part of it is, you will feel fuller for a long time.
5. Stop or Avoid Drinking Sugary Coffee and Beverages:
The ideal coffee drinks are mixed with water, or milk with no sugar syrups, whipped cream or condensed milk. That means having a regular cappuccino, latte or Americano with zero sugar can do wonders for your health and body. A typical latte or cappuccino without added flavour is just espresso with milk and no sugar. With each pump of sugar syrup at your regular café or a dollop of whipped cream makes up around 70 calories.
Our surroundings are full of calories that come cheap, unnecessary and yet cause damage to our health.
